We just got word that our 2008-2009 yearbook is a finalist in the international Columbia Scholastic Press Association Crown awards, the “Pulitzers of high school journalism.” This is totally unprecedented for our students and a huge distinction for our program – only 30 schools in the world end up on the yearbook finalist list each year. On Friday, Nov. 6, our 08-09 yearbook brought home the award for Best Overall Yearbook from the WKU state-wide yearbook contest for the second year in a row. We placed first or second in all contest categories, bringing home the following awards:
