Manual Broadcast Class Wins at KHSJA

Manual broadcast journalism students took first place in two separate categories in this year’s Kentucky High School Journalism Association awards:

Riley Puckett, Jennie Morris & Lindsey Asher (Class of 2009) won first place for their short documentary “Illegal Dumping.”

Manual AM wins at WKU awards

We did very well for our first entries in the WKU statewide Mark of Excellence contest, broadcast journalism division:

1st place for videography went to Kara Hancock and Taylor Steff for their story on Thoroughly Modern Millie (http://vimeo.com/8178452)
2nd place for sports went to Trevor Griner and Mac Hahn for their story on Manual’s new football coach, Dr. [...]
