The National Scholastic Press Association has named duPont Manual’s 2008-2009 Crimson yearbook as a finalist in the national Pacemaker competition.
This is the second national recognition the yearbook has received for its 2008-2009 volume, “Slant.” The other national recognition came from Columbia Scholastic Press Association, which named the Crimson a Crown finalist. The Crimson is the only yearbook in Kentucky to make the finalist list in either contest and one of a small number in the nation to receive both. The final results of the Pacemaker competition are expected in April; the Crown contest results will be announced in March.
