RedEye earns “All-American” rating from NSPA

The National Scholastic Press Association has recognized Manual RedEye as an “All-American” high school news site.

The All-American rating is the highest of four possible ratings (the others are First, Second, and Third Class) for the types of publications evaluated by the NSPA.

CMA wins big at the NSPA fall 2011 convention!

The National Scholastic Press Assocation & the Journalism Education Association held their 2011 fall convention in Minneapolis over the weekend of November 18-20. Yearbook underclassmen took advantage of the warm, sunny day to pose next to the duPont Manual marquee announcing the yearbook CSPA Gold Crown and WKU awards.

Crimson Yearbook wins second consecutive CSPA Gold Crown!

We have just learned that the 2010 Crimson Yearbook was awarded a Gold Crown by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA). Here is the announcement from the CSPA.

Congratulations to the staff of the 2009-2010 Crimson yearbook for earning a Gold Medalist certificate from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association with a score of 968/1000!
